Mr. Giesen has extensive experience including 18 years with a large financial institution in the functional areas of portfolio management, financial analysis, client relationship development, risk management, and financial compliance and regulation.
As a Managing Director in Business Risk Management, Mr. Giesen provided oversight of all risk, compliance, and Office of the Comptroller (OCC) regulatory issues for portfolio management of approximately 50,000 accounts with a combined market value of over $40 billion. He also lead and mentored portfolio manager teams throughout his career, and was recognized for his ability to balance the needs and goals of the client with those of the corporation.
Mr. Giesen purchased the first Expense Reduction Consulting Franchise in Illinois, driven by the compelling benefit and value that expense reduction analysis and implementation can add to small and medium size corporations. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Northwestern University, and his Master of Business Administration in Finance from Loyola University. He is happily married to Beverly, his wife of 29 years, living in Naperville, Illinois. He is a travel enthusiast, most recently exploring the greater Seattle area.
